A quiet beach village about 12 km north of Nambucca Heads, built around Deep Creek and a long surf beach. The most owner-occupied of the valley's towns, and the closest to Coffs Harbour.

Valla Beach is a village of owners: at the 2021 Census, 56 per cent of homes were owned outright and only about one in six was rented. It had the highest median rent of the five towns at the Census, $400 a week, and a median age of 55.

What is changing
The Valla Urban Growth Area, beside the Pacific Highway at Valla, is the valley's largest planned development. The council says stage one, 14 serviced industrial lots, is under way with $11.2 million from the Australian and NSW governments and $17 million from the council, with lots due for release in mid-2026. Later stages plan about 700 homes, a town centre, schools and open space. The council expects the precinct to support more than 2,800 jobs when finished.
